About us

Hi! all
We are a team of six students, worked together and discuss our matter to achieve best results to our project.
We have a photos for all of us. Our names are easily pronouced as Mohamed Zakaria our leader and excellent in achieving computing tasks and design websites. He is sixteen years old.
the second is Ahmed Gamal ia a quiet person and likes reading , writing reports and his main hobbies are swimming , computing games  ,playing football and design  websites with THINKQUEST.
The third is Mohamed galaedin  is sixteen years old is an active students who like challenge and  make interviews with specialists.
The fourth Shady Mohab is quiet person , he likes to share other works and likes taking photos.
The Fifth is Ahmed Nabil is nice in dealing with others .He makes an interview with an expert.
The sixth student is Abanoub Samy is an intelligent boy is an excellent in Montage or editing.

About Cotton plants

Cotton plant is thinned  and inside the ball cotton is grown from August till September It has innumberous uses ;where from the seeds we find oil , soap , paintings and biofuel and from fiber we find all textile producation and from hulls , we find pressed cardboard and paper . Also we managed to extract Ethanol from Leaves of the cotton after evaborating process..Here, we view some of cotton home uses weher we wear and sleep in it or hanging it on the walls , then we view   our experiment inside lab and how we extract eshanol and bio diesel from cotton seeds and leaves.

Extract Ethanol and Bio Diesel

It is no strange nowadays to convert any  plants  residues into Ethanol and bio diesel  only by doing some changing or adding  to its components with the fermentation stage. .That was operated with corn and sugare cane before and now we operate our experience with Cotton leaves. It is very easy and try it  by your own and believe us.
So , as we know that plants always make their own food through photosynthesis process ,where glucose sugar is formed first ,then it converts into starch..Here , plants absorb carbone dioxide gas and dismiss Oxygen. And If you trap Oxygen inside a bottle and put closely a burning light of a candle ,it will burn because oxygen increases in glowing and light up.
- Sunlight
Carbon dioxide gas +water → glucose sugar + oxygen
Here is own own experience in steps:
First: Dry amount of cotton leaves in sunlight for one hour .
Second:   Grind the leaves
Third : Amount of semolina  or starch(that man can dispense it)or not for eating or to cause  shortage of human food.)  
Fourth: Yeast(Packmaya or Saccharomyces cerevisias) .
 Fifth: Adding Alfa Amylase enzyme which activates the mixture and converts 
Glucose into Alcohol
Six: Mix all the contains together in a transplant bowel or bottle  and close it tightly and leave the mixture For fermentation  of about24 hours.
*Notice :
  1. . We notice that Yeast helps to convert carbohydrates into Glucose sugar.
  2. After fermentation which  took one day at least, we saw a brown water as wine
  3. Adding Amylase activates the mixture by converting Glucose into Alcohol.
  4. All of us felt the extreme smelling of Ethanol
  5. It is really very easy experiment. Enjoy doing it by yourself.
  6. Ethanol absorbs Oxygen and expel Carbon Dioxide which can be filled in car engine

So bio diesel is a renewable energy source derived from any plant oil as cotton or corn or sugar cane after fermentation
Using these oils are treated by factors such as the stimulation of sodium or potassium hydroxide and add mixture of citrate corona known as the "etherification reciprocity" and H. technology of power ultrasound to increase the speed of interaction is obtained and extracts bio diesel after being dismissed from impurities.
